How Canadian Tropics Came Alive

Canadian Tropics was born out of a desire to escape the relentless harshness of freezing cold winters—where blistering winds cut through you like knives, temperatures drop so low they feel like they could freeze your very soul, and icy sidewalks threaten to break your bones if you dare slip.

I was sick of the struggle, sick of the toxic food in grocery stores that poison our bodies and make us sick, sick of the constant hustle that steals our peace, leaving us disconnected, anxious, and mentally drained. The addiction to devices, to work, to the grind, was eating away at the fabric of our well-being, driving up mental illness rates and stripping us of true happiness.

I knew we needed something different. I craved a space where we could reconnect with the earth, with real, nourishing food, and with each other. That’s when the dream of Canadian Tropics came alive—a place where the warmth of nature, the power of community, and the abundance of healthy, clean food could thrive. We’re building something that’s more than just a retreat—it’s a movement. A movement to heal, to grow, to uplift each other, and to give back to the earth that sustains us.
